Privacy & Payments

Your privacy, in plain language

The short version: we don’t sell your personal data, we never see your card details, we don’t use ad trackers, and our only analytics are cookie-free.

We don’t sell your personal data

Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. Most of this site, including the guides and the free prompts page, works without an account and without asking for any personal information.

Payments go through Stripe

When you buy the Club Workbook or subscribe to the newsletter, you pay on Stripe’s secure checkout. Stripe is a trusted payment processor used by millions of businesses. It uses bank-level security and meets the payment industry’s highest safety standard.

Stripe handles your payment details under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Newsletter emails

If you subscribe to the Sunday Issue, we use your email address only to send you the newsletter (and messages about your subscription). We don’t sell it or share it for marketing.

Free weekly tips signup

If you sign up for the free tips email (no card needed), we store your email address, the interest you picked (if any), which page you signed up on, the link that brought you to our site (if any), and the date and time. It’s stored securely with our web host, Cloudflare. It’s used only to send you the free tips email, never sold, and never shared for anyone else’s marketing. You can unsubscribe anytime with the link in any email, and we’ll delete your entry on request. The signup form also includes a hidden anti-spam field.

Prompts for You (matchmaker)

The interests and ‘about me’ line you enter on the Prompts for You page stay in your own browser on this device. They are not sent to us unless you choose to sign up for the free tips email, in which case only your email and the interests you selected are sent.

Trackers and analytics

We don’t use ad trackers or advertising cookies. To understand which pages are useful, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you across websites, and doesn’t build a profile of individual visitors; it gives us overall counts such as page views and which pages are popular. A few everyday technical services are involved, and we want to be upfront about them:
